The “count-down” signs around town should be a reminder that there’s an important election coming up Tuesday, November 8.
Four candidates are vying for three City Council seats. Three incumbents — Dan Carscallen, Wayne Krauss and Tom Lamar — are seeking re-election and one challenger is on the ballot, Aaron Ament. The top three vote-getters win.
I’m writing on behalf of my colleagues on the Greater Moscow Alliance board of directors and our 300-some members. Like you, we’re business people, educators, farmers, homemakers and entrepreneurs. We’re interested is promoting free market enterprise, protecting private property rights and limited government.
We want to encourage you to vote November 8th! Without a strong voter turnout, Moscow’s common-sense, business-friendly voice goes unheard.
- Polls are open from 8 AM to 8 PM.
- Vote at the Latah County Fairgrounds
- Absentee voting takes place at the Latah County Auditor’s Office, Room 101 in the Latah County Courthouse, 522 S. Adams.
- You must have picture identification and be registered to vote.
- You can register at the polls with proof of 30 days or more of residency in Moscow and proper identification (driver’s license).
- Voters who changed their name or address since the previous election are required to re-register.
